Covid Fast Pass

Task

Development of a proof of concept for the implementation of a Fast Pass for COVID vaccinations and tests. The PoC should show an application running on mobile phones linking a unique identifier to a vaccination status or test results on an immutable ledger.

The Challenge

The challenge of this proof of concept was to present the technical complexity of the application in the background (decentralised ledger technologies) to the user in a simple, fast and comprehensible way under a time pressure of a few weeks for the implementation.

Hands on

The Approach

The use and creation of user flows was necessary in this project to clearly show the different journeys of the two user groups (citizens & authorities) and to understand the different states in the testing and vaccination process.

Fully working Proof of Conecpt, which is completely decentralized and open source. Nice UX/UI for an optimised user journey.

Description of

My Role

For this project, I was fully responsible for the user experience and user interface design. This included the entire conception of the digital application, the visual design of the proof of concept as well as the creation of the prototype. The entire project was implemented with a team of 5, with close coordination with the programmers at all times.
